Kiki, a young witch apprentice, embarks on a year-long solo adventure in a faraway town to achieve full witch status. With her trusty cat Jiji, she flies off on her broomstick, leaving behind her familiar world. Settling in the coastal town of Koriko proves challenging for Kiki, who, after some wandering, finds a home and work with Osono at a bakery in exchange for delivery services. Inspired, Kiki starts her own airborne courier business, learning valuable lessons in independence and responsibility while connecting with the townspeople along the way.
