Concealed in the Arctic, extraterrestrial beings known as the Gaira plot Earth's domination. Dr. Yan, compelled to serve the aliens, devises Gloizer X, a versatile airborne robot. When entrusted to his daughter Rita, Gloizer X breaks free from the Gaira's grasp, landing in Japan. Here, pilot Jo Kaisaka encounters an injured Rita and seizes the reins of Gloizer X to combat the impending Gaira incursion.
