At the start of a new school year, Yui Hirasawa is faced with the decision of joining a club. Misunderstanding the Light Music Club as a place for simple instrument playing, she applies despite her lack of musical skills. On the brink of disbandment, the club members go to great lengths, offering food and relaxation, to persuade Yui to stay. Initially adamant about leaving, Yui changes her mind after hearing the club perform, igniting her passion for music. Thus begins a journey of playful practice sessions as the Light Music Club members aim to turn their time together into a joyous experience.
