In the world of brindle Akita dogs, Gin, named for his silver fur, faces a daunting destiny as a bear-hunting champion. After witnessing his father's tragic demise at the paws of the dreaded demon bear Akakabuto, Gin is selected to follow in his father's paw prints and vanquish the monstrous threat plaguing their village. As Akakabuto rallies his supporters, Gin embarks on a journey through Japan to recruit canine comrades for an epic battle of dogs versus bears.
