Kimi ni Todoke
Dubbed 'Sadako' due to her resemblance to the eerie character from The Ring, Sawako Kuronuma battles misconceptions about her character and intentions, despite her gentle and shy demeanor. With a deep desire for friendship and a normal life, Sawako finds herself drawn to the sunny and popular Shouta Kazehaya in her class. Admiring Kazehaya's charisma and social ease, Sawako aims to emulate his ability to connect with others. When Kazehaya arranges a class activity to build courage and includes Sawako, she views this as a chance to bridge the gap with her peers, especially Ayane Yano and Chizuru Yoshida. Each interaction and feeling she encounters convinces Sawako that meeting Kazehaya has positively transformed her. Unbeknownst to Sawako, her influence has also left a mark on Kazehaya, altering his perspectives in ways she couldn't imagine.
