In a high school setting, Kakeru Daichi's ordinary life takes a curious turn when a can of melon juice he purchases undergoes a remarkable metamorphosis, becoming a stunning yet aloof girl he dubs 'Melon.' Soon, other 'Akikan' girls, born from cans, emerge. Yet, these Akikan must undergo a unique process of carbonation to attain human form.
