When a mysterious girl transfers to Mitsuba Elementary School, she initially appears like any other student. However, her exceptional athletic abilities and unique talent for communicating with animals set her apart. Claiming to be the 33rd descendant of the legendary ninja Sarutobi Sasuke, she further surprises everyone by revealing that her dog, Puku, can speak as well. Without a permanent residence, she ends up spending a night in Miko-chan's room, only to be initially turned away. Yet, after she heroically puts out a fire, her gracious hosts invite her to stay with them.
