Transported to the mystical realm of Kyou, Akane discovers her role as the Ryuujin no Miko and encounters the Hachiyou, her devoted guardians. Together, they face the malevolent Akuram, a demon intent on Kyou's destruction through the manipulation of Azusa's energy-absorbing abilities. Failure to vanquish Akuram could lead to Azusa's power consuming humanity, posing a grave threat to their world.
