In the aftermath of the first season, Tomoharu confronts a difficult choice: to save his close friend Takatsuki, he must forge a pact with an 'akuma.' Yet, this decision imperils not just his own being but also transforms him and his spectral companion Misao into an Asura Cryin', a grave menace feared by the school's highest authorities. Complicating matters further, Tomoharu and Misao unearth fragments of their forgotten past, shedding light on a mysterious realm previously unbeknownst to them.
