Ushio initially doubts his father's fantastical stories of a demon-slaying ancestor wielding the powerful Beast Spear. However, when he stumbles upon a real monster in his own home, Ushio reconsiders his skepticism. Reluctant to disturb the dormant demon, Ushio soon realizes that its malevolent presence awakens other malevolent spirits in his town. In a bid to protect his loved ones, Ushio must free the creature, Tora, from its confinement. Yet, the question remains: will this action bring salvation or doom? Can Ushio control Tora with the ancient Beast Spear and thwart the impending chaos threatening his city?
