In an OVA adaptation of the Hoshi no Umi arc from chapters 26-34 of the manga, we delve into Rin Azuma's life as a Jiang-Shi yokai settling into Sakurashin. Working at a ramen shop, Rin faces a sudden intrusion by her former friend Zakuro Kurumaki, who aims to recruit Rin to aid in the city's destruction alongside yokai hunters and the series' main antagonist, Enjin Hiizumi. Akina Hiizumi and the Hiizumi Life Counseling Office rally to rescue Rin, 'tune' Zakuro's yokai influence, and safeguard the city from impending chaos.
