In the aftermath of the One Year War, the remnants of the defeated Principality of Zeon, under the leadership of Aguille Delaz, resurface after three years of hiding. Their skilled pilot, Anavel Gato, embarks on a mission to steal a powerful Gundam and its nuclear warhead from a Federation research base. To counter this threat and maintain peace, the Earth Federation deploys the Albion carrier, crewed by a mix of seasoned veterans and rookie pilot Kou Uraki.
