Yuki's thirteenth birthday marks a pivotal moment as her grandparents from Heaven task her with a critical mission on Earth. Sent to a village besieged by bandits, she must intervene to save its inhabitants within a year, or risk fading away like the wind. In the village, Yuki befriends a group of orphans who have lost their parents to the bandits, forming a bond amidst their struggles. Demonstrating her remarkable skills by taming the untamable horse Blizzard, Yuki inspires the orphans and farmers to unite against the bandits and the oppressive lord, Goemon. As tensions escalate, a new threat emerges in the form of the vengeful Demon God dwelling in the volcano, testing Yuki's resolve and courage in the face of imminent danger.
