During a peaceful moment, Gohan Son and Piccolo detect a formidable force hurtling towards Earth, only to realize it's a small planet on a collision course. Despite Gokuu Son and Kuririn's failed attempt to divert its path, the planet mysteriously changes trajectory and explodes, unveiling itself as a castle-bearing vehicle commanded by Slug, the self-proclaimed king of the universe. As Gohan loses a Dragon Ball in the defense against Slug's army, the tyrant seizes it along with Bulma's Dragon Radar to locate the other mystical orbs. With the Dragon Balls in his grasp, Slug rejuvenates himself, becoming a potent and youthful conqueror set on dominating the world.
