At Nenga, Manmaru enrolls in a ninja school where foxes and raccoons train in the deadly arts under the tutelage of a bear ninja sensei. As he delves into his studies, Manmaru finds himself entangled in the fierce competition between his school, the Koga (monkeys), and the Iga (dogs), all while resisting the allure of the Dobe, a faction of renegade Nenga students.
