As the daughter of Dr. Yagiyama, a penguin enthusiast whose lectures have soured her feelings towards the birds, elementary school girl Tamaki finds herself entangled in a peculiar solution. To help her overcome her aversion to penguins, her father creates a unique penguin companion named 'Minori'. Together, Tamaki and Minori embark on a series of escapades in their community, tackling the problems stemming from her father's eccentricities.
