In the aftermath of the Great Hall Tragedy, the continent of Atlatan plunges into war once more. Originally a celebration uniting two powerful factions, the marriage of Sir Alexis Douse and Lady Marrine Kreische turns into chaos as the forces of darkness known as 'Chaos' invade, led by the sinister Demon Lord of Diabolos. Siluca Meletes, a mage from the Alliance, seeks solace in mastering her craft after the failure to prevent the tragedy. Encountering Theo Cornaro, a warrior bearing a mystical 'Crest' with the power to combat Chaos, Siluca joins forces with him. Theo, driven by a desire to free his hometown from oppression and Chaos, and Siluca, bound by a magical contract, set out on a quest to bring harmony back to their war-torn land.
