As their bond deepens, fueled by a shared dream of encountering the Legendary Pokémon Houou, they embark on a quest guided by a Rainbow Wing. Joined by fellow Trainers Makoto and Souji, Satoshi's journey unfolds with capturing an abandoned Hitokage, witnessing Caterpie evolve into Butterfree before setting it free, and encountering the enigmatic Marshadow. However, their path is obstructed by the conceited Cross, Hitokage's previous Trainer.
