In 19th century Paris, Claude Claudel and his grandfather Oscar operate a metalworking shop in a quaint shopping arcade. When Oscar returns from a trip with a young Japanese girl named Yune, Claude is hesitant at first but eventually agrees to let her stay and work with them. As Claude navigates the challenges of adjusting to Yune's cultural differences, he finds himself drawn to her world, gradually opening up to the idea of connecting with her and embracing her presence in their lives.
