Chu Feng: B.E.E
In 2017, a team of brilliant scientists achieves a groundbreaking advancement in bioengineering. This discovery, however, is swiftly integrated into military operations, sparking a fresh wave of arms competition. Among the cutting-edge creations are the Vanguards, hailed as the pinnacle of modern bioengineering and the ultimate weapon in this race for supremacy. Despite their formidable combat prowess, Vanguards pay a steep price with their shortened lifespans due to the nanomachines they rely on. Typically, Vanguards retire from service after a limited tenure. Our protagonist, the heroine Liuli, has also depleted a significant portion of her lifespan on countless missions. With a mere 380 days left to live, Liuli is tasked with a new mission—to liberate a hostage in a civilian installation. This assignment presents a formidable challenge for Liuli, a battle-hardened Vanguard adept at warfare but unfamiliar with mercy. Despite her reservations, Liuli ultimately accepts the mission. As the operation unfolds, Liuli makes a startling discovery—the captive's captor is no stranger but a former Vanguard named Zhongrong Zhou. Tearfully, Zhou pleads with the authorities to surrender the son of Eden. Faced with Zhou's plea, Liuli, fueled by disdain for her kind, prepares for a showdown to rid the world of Vanguard treachery. Thus, a clash between two Vanguards ensues, driven by past regrets and conflicting loyalties.
